Ruth Denney, 80, Old Monticello Rd., Albany, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Medical Center-Albany. She was the wife of the late Earl Denney, a member of Beech Bottom Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Denney.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Dale Duvall, Albany; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Denney, Somerset, Kentucky; Kenny and Sandy Denney, Albany; two brothers, Lonnie and Jimmie Smith; a sister, Faye Lee, all of Albany; four grandchildren, Patrick and Ethan Denney Josh Pierce and Abby Tallent and three great-grandchildren, Wesley and Gatlin Denney and Gage Pierce.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie McCutchen and Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Final resting place in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
