Shirley Ann Abner, 59, Albany, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at The Medical Center-Albany. She was the daughter of the late Jesse B. and Mattie Bell Starnes and a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Chad Abner, Lexington, Kentucky; Lucas Amy Abner, Albany; a sister, Mary Faye and Jay Stockton; two brothers, Roger and Ida Starnes and Eddie Starnes of Albany; a granddaughter, Mattie Grace Abner; also two step-grandchildren, Tagan and Landrick Garner.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 9 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Jim England officiating. Final resting place in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
