Vera A. Burchett Conner, 81, Jones Mill Road, Albany, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016. She was the wife of the late Herman Conner and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Milford, Arlin and James Martin Burchett and two sisters, Helen Christine and Ova Dean Burchett.

She is survived by a daughter, Twila Jean Whitley; a sister, Ethel Page; a brother, Lloyd (Leah) Burchett; all of Albany; a sister-in-law, Geneva Boils; two grandchildren, Beverly (Kenneth) Jones, Albany and Tony Whitley; three great-grandchildren, Reese A. Beaty and Conner R. and Elijah Jones.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Cumberland City United Methodist Church with Bro. Ted Burchett and W. C. Powell officiating. Final resting place in Shelton Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
