Arthur H. “Art” Byers, 79, Greenfield, Indiana and formerly of Albany, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at his residence. He was the son of the late Selbert and Ermon (Hays) Byers and was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Eula Sutton and sister-in-law, Charlene Byers.

He is survived by his wife, Rachael Ann (Upchurch) Byers, Greenfield, Indiana; four brothers, John T. Byers, New Castle, Indiana; Earl (Susan) Byers, Frankfort, Kentucky; Weldon (Marilyn) Byers, Stevie (Anna Ruth) Byers, Albany; four sisters, Nadine (Don) Dalton New Castle, Indiana; Elaine (Michael) Craft, Somerset, Kentucky; Mary (Larry) Brown, Lois (Bobby) Thrasher, Albany; sister-in-law, Alberta (Charles) Glidewell, Greenfield, Indiana; also several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 8, 2016 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Brown officiating. Final resting place in Davidson Cemetery in Pickett County, Tennessee.
