Candidates seeking non-partison seats that will be up for election this fall, gathered in the office of County Clerk Shelia Booher last Thursday to draw for ballot positions.

In the photo at right, the three candidates seeking the school board seat in District 4 are shown during the position draw procedure. County Clerk Booher is in the foreground at far left, while school board candidates Donald Story, Crystal Irwin and Gary Norris are pictured in the center of the photo. Deputy Clerk Dianne Elmore is pictured in the lower portion of the photo.

In the bottom photo, five of the seven candidates seeking the six seats for Albany City Council were on hand for Thursdays drawing, including, from left to right, Tonya Claborn Thrasher, Leland Hicks, Jarrod Parrigin, Carl Ferguson and Frankie Stockton.
