The Clinton County Friends of Football hosted a royal pre-game party Monday afternoon as the Football Meet the Bulldogs got underway. The event was filled with peppy cheerleaders, fans, face painting, food and an up close look at this season’s 47 member roster. According to Head Coach Jamie Miller’s wife, Trisha, this year is the largest team roster in recent history.

In the below photos, Aleigha Matthews got her face painted by Jordan Cross during Monday night’s event. In the second photo, a silent auction was held with items collected from the community. In the third photo below, fans lined up to dine on a grilled hotdog supper and in the bottom photo, Miller announced each player to show fans who will be under the helmets come Friday night.

This year’s team will hit the road Friday night to take the short trip to Byrdstown, Tennessee to take on the Bobcats. Last year, Clinton County was defeated at home by the Bobcats, 32-0, and in 2014, the Bulldogs lost the game, 20-6.

The Bulldogs look to snap the two game loosing streak to Pickett County Friday night with a kick-off time of 7 p.m. Trisha Miller also reminded fans to wear white Friday night to create a “white out” effect in the crowd to support the team.
