Billy Gayle Tallent, 61, Fairland Cemetery Road, Albany, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late William Richard and Lorene Woodrum Tallent, and a sister, Lela Ann Cross.

He is survived by three sons, Andrew (Paige) Tallent, Albany; Alex Tallent, Columbus, Ohio; Billy A. Tallent, Monticello, Kentucky; a brother, Johnny Richard Tallent; a half-brother, Ernest Lee Tallent, both of Albany; a sister, Wilma Gaye Melton, Albany; two half-sisters, Hazel Dean Simmons, Somerset, Kentucky; Karen Foster, Albany; also two grandchildren, Sawyer Alexa and Ryan Duke Tallent.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Boils and Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating. Final resting place in Fairland Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
