Jessica Nicole Beard, daughter of Greg and Janice Beard of Albany, was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Transylvania University at the commencement ceremonies on May 28 in Lexington, Kentucky.

Jessica graduated Cum Laude, served as the student body president during the 2010-2011 academic school year, was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, and was president of Phi Alpha Delta, Pre-Law Fraternity.

In August Jessica will be attending the University Of Kentucky College Of Law.
