Golf Dawg Chase Claborn watched his putt on the seventh hole roll toward the cup last Thursday at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park during the District Tournament. Claborn finished the tournament round with a nine-hole score of 44 as the Dawgs claimed the championship title.

Clinton County will compete in the Regional Tournament next week, also to be held at Dale Hollow Golf Course.

Lady Golf Dawg Samantha Stinson watched her ball head toward the green on the second hole at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park last Thursday during the 16th District Golf Tournament. Stinson finished the tournament with a round of 46 to help Clinton County High School capture the district championship.

The Lady Dawgs will compete in Regional Tournament play next week, also to be held at Dale Hollow State Resort Park.

The Clinton County High School Lady Golf Dawgs and Golf Dawgs added more hardware to the high school trophy case last week when both squads captured the championship title during the District Tournament held at Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Golf Course.

Two of the local high school golfers, Kyle Choate and London Honeycutt, shown above left, turned in the best scores of their respective tournaments to lay claim to medalist honors.
