James D. Guffey, 53, Albany, passed away Monday, September 12, 2106 at the Medical Center-Albany.

He is survived by his parents, Ernest R. and Anna Lois Guffey; a daughter, Haleigh Guffey; two sons, Eric and Chase Guffey, all of Albany; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Shannon Guffey, Monticello, Kentucky; David and Jona Guffey, Albany; a grandchild, Kenzlee Guffey; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Smith and Bro. Tony Bolling officiating. Final resting place in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
