Jeremy Ferguson, an officer with the Albany Police Department who serves as the Clinton County School System School Resource Officer (SRO), is shown above alongside a banner that was signed by the students, faculty and staff at Albany Elementary School. The banner was made in conjunction with National Thank A Police Officer Day, which was last Saturday, September 17.

Using the theme, “Some heroes wear a cape…ours wears a badge,” the recognition was the school’s way of expressing to Ferguson it’s appreciation for his hard work, dedication and compassion shown while performing his SRO duties at the school.
