Alva E. Hadley, 81, Jamestown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at Russell County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Alva Ray and Vertie Mae (Russell) Pierce and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Lee Hadley, a brother, Kenneth Pierce and a sister, Lillian Burchett.

She is survived by her husband, Herman Hadley, Jamestown, Kentucky; and four sisters, Wanda Flatt and Evelyn Cape, both of Russell Springs, Kentucky; Helen Marcum and Geneva Pierce, both of Albany.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. at H. E. Pruitt Funeral Home with Bro. Jessie Jewell officiating. Final resting place in Jamestown Cemetery. Arrangements were made through H. E. Pruitt Funeral Home in Jamestown, Kentucky.
