October is recognized nationally as National Cooperative Month. South Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative is proud to be a part of the celebration of cooperatives. SKRECC has been honored for nearly 80 years to serve the 66,000 member-owners that receive electricity from South Kentucky RECC.

South Kentucky RECC hosted member appreciation day on Monday, October 3, at each of its five offices. All South Kentucky RECC members were invited to come by their local office for refreshments, a free compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL), and to register for door prizes.

In all, 1,846 members visited their local South Kentucky RECC office, with 220 visiting the Clinton County office.
