Joyce Cash and her antique Chevrolet Truck won first place in the Foothills Parade Antique Vehicle division.

Gene and Martha Gaye Hunter were on board their Model A in Friday’s Foothills Festival Parade to win second place in the Antique Vehicle competition.

Gary Koger and his Chevrolet Bel Air won the third place prize in the Foothills Festival Parade Antique Vehicle division.

A light rain arrived in Albany just about the time the Friday Foothills Parade got underway, but the crowd stayed around, some with unbrellas, to enjoy what has become known as one of the best parades in the region.

Lee’s Chapel Church and this My Old Kentucky Home float was good enough to convince the Foothills Parade judges it deserved the first place award in the float division.

Pine Grove Church won second place in the float division of Friday’s Foothills Festival parade with this float entry.

John Washburn did a little hamming up for the float judges Friday as he pulled his Stuff Plain and Fancy float past their table on the courthouse square. The float earned a third place finish.

A host of horses brought up the rear of Friday’s Foothills Festival parade, marking the end of the annual parade.
