Fans of all things motors were treated to a great collection of vehicles Saturday morning at the Foothills Show that featured antique and custom vehicles, motorcycles and tractors. Pair the event with the fantastic weather experienced Saturday and it made for crowds of people in the show area all morning and afternoon.

Janet Brummett distributed material last weekend from her booth near Dyer Drug Co., Inc., regarding her plans to establish a spay/neuter program for pets in Albany and Clinton County. She hopes to establish the clinic through donations and will base the clinic from the Albany VFW headquarters on Hopkins Street. Virginia Conner and Tuesday Gibson earned the first place price in the Lip Sync 19 and over division with their performance of “Dear Future Husband”, a Meghan Trainor hit.

In the new Lip Sync Open division, the stage took on a political atmosphere when “The Donald” (Hannah Smith) and “The Hillary” (Sara Muse) got together for the Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes hit, “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life”. The act earned the first place prize in the open division.

Kelly, Wanda and Vicky did the Fat Boys rendition of “The Twist” in the Open division of the Lip Sync contest to pick up the third place prize.

Parker Tallent, Chase Gibson, Tristan Moons, Reagan Thrasher, and Mariah Moons earned a second place finish in the open division of Saturday’s Lip Sync contest when they brought Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show to the stage with the hit “Cover of the Rolling Stone”.
