Always the single largest attended event of each Foothills Festival, the Lip Sync Contest always provides the fans on hand with plenty of hand clapping acts to enjoy.

There weren’t any lions or tigers on hand, but this chainsaw artist at the lumberjack demonstration area did carve out several bears, as well as turtles, alligators and other items. The attraction was one of the most popular crowd pleasing areas throughout the weekend.

Not all of the decorations available at the Foothills Arts and Crafts booths were for the home. This young Foothills fan was spotted Friday getting some face deco applied from a vendor.

A new entertainment feature at this year’s Foothills Festival proved to be a crowd favorite throughout the weekend. The lumberjack demonstration crew put on shows throughout the weekend, showcasing several lumberjack related activities.

The Saturday Lip Sync contest crowd has long been the largest single gathering of Foothills fans during the weekend, and this 2016 crowd was certainly no exception. Chairs were put in place beginning Friday night and before the event had concluded Saturday afternoon, fans were pushed into the street underneath the courthouse square stoplight, cutting traffic down to a single lane.
