Charles “Poss” Muse, 79, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was the son of the late Prentis and Ethel White Muse and husband of the late Nina “Susie” Muse. He was also preceded in death by four children and two brothers.

He is survived by seven daughters, Faye (Randall) Starns; Mary (Rayborn) Starns; Brenda Scott (Larry Booher); Linda (Ray) Tallent, all of Albany; Wanda (Jimmy) Dunbar, Jamestown, Kentucky; Darlene and Brittany Muse, both of Burkesville, Kentucky; six sons, Jonah Scott, Albany; James “Dude” (Pam) Anderson, Greensburg, Kentucky; Tony Scott; Patrick Anderson; Brian (Linda) Muse and Charles Muse, all of Burkesville, Kentucky; two sisters, Jody Rush and Lura Muse, both of Burkesville, Kentucky; two brothers, Perry Muse, Burkesville, Kentucky; German Muse, Rockport, Indiana; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home with Bro. John Frank Summers officiating. Burial in Burkesville Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville. Online condolences may be made at www.balloustotts.com.
