Readers are reminded to “fall back” in time this Sunday morning, November 6 at 2 a.m., as Central Daylight Saving Time officially comes to an end for a large portion of the country, including Clinton County.

Central Daylight Time (CDT) will officially kick in this Sunday morning.

Central Standard Time will be in effect until the last Sunday of March 2017 when Central Daylight Saving Time returns.

Everyone is reminded that in order to get an extra hour of sleep and avoid getting to where you are going on Sunday an hour early, to turn your time pieces “back” one hour either at bedtime Saturday night or upon rising Sunday morning.
