Wendell Gaylon Hunter, 88, Albany, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at The Medical Center-Albany. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Huddleston and Sammie McWhorter and four brothers, Robert, Hobert, Aubrey and Raymond Hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Ruth Hunter; a son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Kathy Hunter; two grandsons, Jared (Courtney) Hunter and Matthew Hunter and one great-grandson, Riley Hunter.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Summers and Bro. David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Piercey Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
