Guy Boils, 78, Albany, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Medical Center-Albany. He was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church, son of the late Willie and Jewell Melton Boils and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Boils Abernathy and a sister, Reba Boils Clark.

He was a contractor in business with his son, Tony, for many, many years, working in and around Albany and Clinton County.

He is survived by his wife, Letha Boils; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Nell Boils, Albany; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Mike Morgan, Burkesville, Kentucky; eight sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Kay Cross, Wilma and Harold Cooksey, and Brenda and Gary Smith, all of Albany; Nelda and Hollis Smith and Ruby and Dale Rector, Byrdstown, Tennessee; Doris and Paul Hill and Donna and Jim Gough, Connersville, Indiana; Joyce Matthews, Lexington, Kentucky; also four grandchildren, Brooke and Anthony Boils and Kaden and Abby Morgan.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Catron officiating. Final resting place in Boils-Cash Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Boils-Cash Cemetery Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
