Carl R. Wilson, 82, Albany, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. He was a member of Lee’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia “Jenny” Wilson, Albany; four daughters and sons-in-law, Tena and Bill Palmer, New Castle, Indiana; Saundra and Chris Bryant, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Monica Price, Indianapolis, Indiana; Jennifer and Jeff Nye, Muncie, Indiana; a son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Linda Hay, Muncie, Indiana; two sisters, Patricia Watkins, Anderson, Indiana; Jean Gorman, New Castle, Indiana; a brother, Ed Wilson, Yorktown, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, Chris Kirby, Mary Palmer, Crystal Bryant, Jay and Karl Kissinger, J.D. Craft, Jena Ashby, Brooke Terry, and Kent, Audrea and Brock French; also 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 14, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, Indiana with final resting place in Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana. Memorials are suggested to the Carl Wilson Memorial Fund and may be left at Talbott Funeral Home. Local arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
