Over 250 enjoy Missoula Children’s Theater presentation of Peter and Wendy

Over 250 people were in attendance at the 13th annual Missoula Children’s Theatre residency week performance on Friday, November 11th. The audience joined Peter, Wendy, Captain Hook, and many more for a fanciful flight to Neverland and back when the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students presented an original musical adaptation of PETER AND WENDY.

The local cast featured Hayden Garrett as Peter Pan and Hailey Cole as Peter’s Shadow. Playing Tinker Bell was McKenna Moons with Claire Guffey, Autumn Langley, Moriah Moons, Sadie Moons, Jaden Mullins, Katelyn Perez, and Jonathan Richardson as the Lost Boys.

Ashton Daniels was the Crocodile and Emily Sawyers was Petey. Kendra Bertram played Wendy Darling and John and Michael Darling were Eli Rains and Evan Little. Mr. and Mrs. Darling were Eli Melton and Chesney Harlan, with Esmerelda Pascual and Loren Little as Nana and Liza.

The notorious Captain Hook was Christian Derryberry with Tessa Cross, Brandon Hall, Kendall Hay, Olivia Lee, Peyton Pyzik, Jonna Upchurch, and Addison Weston as his Pirate crew. Ella Marlow was Tiger Lily and Sami Criswell, Maggie Cross, Tanner Cross, Ethan Rains, and Bailey Weston were the Neverlanders with Kaylah Boston, James Craig, KayAlan Cross, Natali Derryberry, Saylor Hess, and Sadie Ipock as the Neverland Creatures.

Flying their way to Neverland were Ali Claborn, Noah Claborn, John Dylan Cooksey, Cade Ipock, Sydney Lowhorn, Mason Musk, Allison Shepperd, Owen Staton, Haven Stearns, Abigale Upchurch, Isabelle Upchurch, and Bella Young as Clouds. Cheyenne Neal, Stacy Pascual, and Emma Tompkins served as Assistant Directors for the week.

MCT Tour Actor Jenn Jensen played Smee, and the show was directed by MCT Tour Director Matthew Hogan. The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Clinton County was presented by Clinton County Community Education with support from Extended School Services.
