Ho! Ho! Ho! It’s that time of year again when Ole Saint Nick is preparing to make his yearly rounds, visiting all good boys and girls in just over three weeks.

As is traditional as Santa Claus coming to town, the Clinton County News is once again giving children near, far and wide the opportunity to get their “wish list” to Santa before Christmas Eve as we once again will be publishing “Letters to Santa” in our special Christmas edition later this month.

The deadline to get letters into the NEWS office, either by email, fax, mailed letter or in person, is next Thursday, December 8 at 4 p.m. to guarantee the letters will be published in our Christmas section. Any letters received after that date are not assured of publication with the rest of the letters.

Once again we are asking that all letters, whether they be individual, classroom, or other group correspondence, to be legible and teachers who submit classroom letters are urged to read the letters carefully for clarity and correct spelling.

Also, group letters should contain the name or names of the teacher, etc. and individual letters should have a phone number attached in case there are questions about the letters content.

Again, parents/guardians and teachers should mark their calendar’s as Thursday, December 8 at 4 p.m. is the deadline for submission.
