Clinton County Fiscal Court held a brief call meeting Monday morning with all members present and four items of business on the special meeting agenda.
The court first approved fund transfers and then proceeded to give approval to some people who had been recommended to serve on the local taxing district board.
On a motion by Magistrate Mickey Riddle, the court voted unanimously to appoint Jamie Sparks to the Clinton County Library Board and on a motion by Magistrate Patty Guinn, approved the appointments of Anna Norris and Lynn Conner to serve as members of the Clinton County Extension Service Board.
The only other item of business once again pertained to the Tri-County Animal Shelter. The court unanimously, on a motion by Magistrate Terry Buster, voted to set up a Pay-Pal account for anyone who wished to make donations for animals that are rescued and brought to the shelter. The motion stipulated that County Treasurer Tuesday Davis would be in charge of keeping up with the funds collected.
The next regular meeting of Clinton Fiscal Court is scheduled for next Thursday, December 15 in the upstairs courtroom of the courthouse and is open to the general public.
