The 37th annual Gateway to the Word St. Louis Top Ten Tournament was held on December 2nd and 3rd at Ferguson Church of the Nazarene in St. Louis, Missouri. Team members pictured above, from left to right, are: Eli Rains, Saylor Hess, Ethan Rains, and Blake Melton with Coach Ammie Marcum.

Forty-eight teams from twenty-two states participated in the annual quizzing event. Four quizzers from Highway Nazarene Church were part of the Kentucky District All-Star teams that competed at the tournament.

Blake Melton, Eli Rains, Ethan Rains, and Saylor Hess earned spots on the district team at the Kentucky District November quiz. Blake, Eli, Ethan, and Saylor were members of the Kentucky White team, coached by Highway coach Ammie Marcum. Kentucky White finished 6th in the Gold Division Tournament. Individually, Blake Melton finished 29th out of 233 quizzers and had the highest average of all ten Kentucky quizzers.
