The Clinton County High School JROTC Bulldog Battalion had a great day at the Annual SGT York Drill Meet, Saturday, December 10, 2016, at York Institute, Jamestown, Tennessee.

The Bulldog Battalion started the day at 5:30 a.m. and returned around 9:30 p.m. They competed well in Platoon Inspection, Regulation Platoon Drill with Arms, Squad Drill with Arms, Male/Mixed Color Guard, Female Color Guard, and Academics.

The Color Guard came away with second place in the Female Color Guard category, out of 12 Color Guard teams. The first place trophy went to West Creek High School, out of Clarksville, Tennessee. An outstanding performance by our Bulldog Battalion Drill/Color Guard/Academics teams.

The following cadets competed: Dawson Waid, Devon Redman, Shania Bagwell, Will Blake, Nick Bell, Leo Oplinger, Renee Cash, Gabby Longwell, Kaitlin Davis, Hayley Herald, Daniel Thomas, Deon Thomas, Joe Edwards, Chandler Hall, Jacob Stearns, Andrea Duvall, Abby Scheffler, Abby Turner, Maddie Waid, Brooklin Adkins, Jasmine Brumley, Vanessa Short, Brianna Sparks, Harrison Wallace, and Alex Pierce.
