Paul Jackson Sharp, Sr., 77, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky. He was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Sunday, September 17, 1939, the son of the late A. O. and Lula Jones Sharp. He attended the Church of Christ, was a mechanic, and business owner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold Sharp, Randolph Sharp, and sisters, Alma Short, Nina Skipworth, Mae Williams, Sybil Key, Ruth H. Walker, and Amy Spears.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn R. Sharp; his son and daughter-in-law, Paul Jr. and Christy Sharp; his sister, Bebe Capps; two grandsons, Matthew Jackson Sharp and Patrick Dylan Sharp, all of Burkesville, Kentucky; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services were conducted on Thursday, December 22, 2016 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial was in the Perkins Cemetery in Cumberland County.
