Lloyd Ronald “Ron” Smith, 70, Lebanon, Indiana and a native of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was former owner of Bear Creek Oil and Bear Creek Oil Purchasing Companies in Clinton County.

He is survived by three sons, Chad Smith, Durham, North Carolina.; Travis Smith, Ft. McMurray, Canada; Lloyd Russell “Rusty” Smith, Lebanon, Indiana; a daughter, Hannah Turner, Whitestown, Indiana; three brothers, Richard “Dick” and Dale G. Smith, both of Lebanon, Indiana; Barry J. Smith, Elk Grove, California; and two grandson, Gabriel and Josiah.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana with burial to follow at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Arrangements were made through Myers Mortuary of Lebanon, Indiana. Online condolences may be made at www.norris-new.com.
