Anna Ruth Kennedy, 73, Monticello, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Guy Decker, Sr. and Ruth V. (Anderson) Decker, and was also preceded in death by a brother, George Decker.

She is survived by her husband, Mintford Kennedy; a son, Roger (Kim) Kennedy; seven daughters, Deborah (Robby) Scott, Michele (Scott) Goane, Linda Hicks, Brenda and Gladys Kennedy, Maxine Looper and Diane (Johnny) Stinson; a brother, Guy Decker, Jr.; a sister, Margaret Dale; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Kennedy; a sister-in-law, Kathy Easterly; also 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time at Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with final resting place in Elk Spring Cemetery in Wayne County. Arrangements were made through Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home of Monticello, Kentucky.
