Wendell Newman Jarvis, 93, Burkesville, Kentucky and a native of Clinton County, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of the late John Sam and Allie May Davidson Jarvis, husband of the late Mae Riddle Jarvis and was also preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a niece. He was of the Methodist faith and a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a daughter, Teresa Kay (Dr. Ravi) Johar, Chesterfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Katelyn, Alexandar and Megan Johar; also several two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Final resting place in Highway Cemetery in Clinton County.
