The sixth Kentucky District Teen Bible Quiz of the 2016-2017 season was held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Albany United Church of the Nazarene. Two teams from Highway Nazarene Church competed in this round robin tournament with seven other teams.

The Highway Way team earned 2nd place overall in the tournament. Highway Way is comprised of Eli Rains, Ethan Rains, Shaun Radford, and Sidney Alexander. Highway High is comprised of Mattie Honeycutt, Saylor Hess, and Lex Marcum.

Five Highway quizzers also placed in the Top Ten. Individually, Saylor Hess was 10th, Shaun Radford was 9th, Mattie Honeycutt was 8th, Eli Rains was 5th, and Ethan Rains was 3rd. Ethan, Eli, Mattie, and Shaun were all age eligible to participate in the Top 16 Quiz Off to select the district all-star teams and all four made the team.

Saylor Hess was not age eligible to participate in the Quiz Off. Ethan, Eli, Mattie, and Shaun will represent the Kentucky District on the Bible Quiz Team at Top Nazarene Talent at Trevecca Nazarene University in March. The teams were coached by Gunar Honeycutt and Ammie Marcum.
