Irene Guffey, 96, Albany, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at Clinton County Care and Rehab. She was the wife of the late Jessie L. Guffey and a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Earlene Guffey, and a grandchild, Christopher Guffey.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita Guffey, Albany; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Frances Guffey, Albany; Dan and Joan Guffey, Lexington, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jamie (Kristie) Guffey, Bowling Green, Kentucky; Shelby (Kelly) Guffey, Colby (Sara Beth) Guffey, Albany; Danielle (Erik) Huber, Mt. Washington, Kentucky; and six great-grandchildren, Kylie, Landon, Reagan, Rylee, Addy and Ayla.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Jones officiating. Final resting place in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Walnut Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
