Vetta Wallen Guffey, 81, Albany, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Pickett County Care and Rehab in Byrdstown, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Rhodes, a grandson, Jonathan Rhodes, four brothers, Willie, Ray, Hansford and Harlen Wallen and nine sisters, Ala Sanderford, Velma Pennticuff, Mildred Wallen, Vesta Zaryczny, Elsie Andrews, Flonnie Wallen, Ruth Goodman, Leta Appleby and Barbara Jean Melton.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Guffey, Missouri; Jimmie Guffey, Albany; four grandchildren, Destiny Guffey, Heidi Moloney, Heather Lumbley and Christopher Rhodes; also eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Brown officiating. Final resting place in Shelton Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
