Bulldog Battalion competitive at SGM (Ret) Paul Gray Memorial Drill Meet 2017

The 8th Annual 7th Brigade, SGM (Ret) Paul Gray Memorial Drill/Color Guard/Marksmanship/Academic Competition, held at North Hardin High School, Radcliff, Kentucky, March 11, 2017, was a great day for the Bulldog Battalion.

This is the largest JROTC competition in 7th Brigade, with 54 schools from five states participating.

There were no Bulldog Battalion team wins. However, three Bulldog Battalion Cadets won individual awards.

The following cadets won medals in the Unarmed Regulation Knockout Drill Event: Cadet Second Lieutenant Haley Herald – 25th Place. This is Haley’s second competition Knockout Drill Medal in the last two weeks. Cadet Sergeant First Class Daniel Thomas – 15th Place, Daniel’s first Knockout Medal. Cadet Second Lieutenant Gabrielle Longwell – 11th Place. This is Gabrielle’s second year in a row winning a Knockout Drill Medal at this competition.

There are over 300 cadets competing in this event. Congratulations to all who competed.
