On Thursday, March 9, 2017, 33 members of Clinton County Area Technology Center’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter traveled to the campus of Eastern Kentucky University to compete in the Regional Leadership Conference.

The results were as follows: Advertising: Renska Covey, 3rd place; Business Calculations: Frank Zheng, 1st place: Business Communication: Christy Sidwell, 3rd place: Business Law: Jaden Mullins, 3rd place: Computer Applications: Christy Sidwell, 3rd place: Cyber Security: Keisha Garrett, 2nd place: Help Desk: James Cecil, 3rd place: Insurance and Risk Management: Jessica Armstrong, 3rd place: Introduction To Business Communication: Paige Hicks, 2nd place: Introduction to Business Presentation: Makayla Cope and Cydney Sampson, 1st place: Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure: Garrett Page, 2nd place; Local Chapter Annual Business Report: Frank Zheng and Vivian Zheng, 1st place; Local Chapter Name Tag: Frank Zheng and Vivian Zheng, 1st place; Management Decision Making: Conlan Beck, Rachel Sawyers, and Thomas Holsapple, 1st place; Organizational Leadership: Sidney Dominguez, 3rd place; Spreadsheet Applications: Vivian Zheng, 1st place; Word Processing: Frank Zheng, 1st place; Euguene H. Smith Scholarship: Frank Zheng, 1st place; Voting Delegates: Steven Grider, Khiara Alexander, and Thomas Holsapple; Local Leadership Challenges: Clinton County ATC, 2nd place.

These students will advance to and complete at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Louisville on April 17-19. Their local chapter adviser is Mrs. Holly Claborn.
