Howard B. York, 79, Louisville, Kentucky and formerly of Albany, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at his residence. He was the son of the late Jasper Earl and Cytha Leveridge York and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Luther and Wesley Earl York and a sister, Ruth Evelyn Heck.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Marcum York; a son, Danny York; a daughter, Patricia Young; one brother, Jimmy York, Louisville; also three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Michael Small officiating. Final resting place in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
