Mildred Joy (Taylor) Smith, 57, Albany, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2107 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was the daughter of the late Reed and Edna May Taylor.

She is survived by a son, Jason (Janet) Taylor, Albany; a daughter, Carolyn Jean Davidson, Lexington, Kentucky; a sister, Rita Whaley, Indianapolis, Indiana; six grandchildren, Jamison and Taylor Milam; Haley and Elijah Myles Taylor; Lillian and Harley Davidson; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Central Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Huffaker officiating. Final resting place in Locust Grove Cemetery in Laurel County. Memorial are suggested to the family for final expenses and may be left at the funeral home. Arrangements were made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany.
