To the Editor,

A turtle was mugged by a gang of snails. The police came. (They) asked the turtle who did this to him. What all could he tell them about the crime. The turtle answered, “I don’t know! I don’t know! It all happened so fast.”

Jesus Christ had a three-year ministry. I bet you those years went fast for Him. His disciples had a lot to learn and Jesus was their only teacher. They learned as they traveled by foot with Him.

My favorite teachings of Jesus concerned children. His disciples got very angry one day when some were brought to be blessed by Jesus. They tried to rush the children back and away from Jesus. An even more angry Jesus told His disciples they need to be more like children. Not to be self-centered but more humble and caring for other people.

Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Luke 18:17.
