(Cross) Mackey

Nellie Marie Cross Mackey was born April 30, 1922 in Clinton County, and passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Winchester, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roxie Ann Lovelace and Noah Luther Cross; her husband of 67 years, Jesse Luther Mackey and six siblings, Mary Dot Sawyer, Lucille Hicks, Bruce, Fred, Reed and John M Cross.

She is survived by her sons, Gary S. (Marilyn) Mackey of Cleveland, Tennessee and Nickey L. (Jan) Mackey of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a daughter, Mary Lovelace (Tim) Sykes of Libertyville, Illinois; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Watson-North Funeral Home, Winchester, Tennessee with interment at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
