Gifted and Talented Students at Clinton County Middle School had the opportunity to participate in Rural Up! Computer Coding Academy on April 11th.

The goal of Rural Up! is to create an exciting and engaging environment in which middle school and high school students are challenged to think about technology in very tangible and applicable ways. By giving them the information and resources needed for success in computer coding, Rural Up! hopes that the students will become leaders of the high tech workforce right here in Kentucky.

The students were introduced to basic concepts in computer programming by professionals in the field, Nick Such and Jeff Reed.
