Last week was a big week for fund raising in Albamy and Clinton County and the Friday morning event at Mountain View Recreation Park saw some of our youngest citizens getting in on the efforts.

Some 26 Pre-school students took part in the annual program that included bicycle and tricycle riders working to pedal laps around the front parking lot at the park to raise pledge money to benefit the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Local coordinator Lorie Dalton told the Clinton County News that this year’s group completed another successful run, raising just over $3,200 to benefit the research programs at the Memphis facility.
