Bat Dawgs host Monroe in final home game of the season

Jacob Bertram took the mound Monday for the final home game of the season against Monroe County. Clinton County lost the game, 8-5, and move to 8-10 on the year. The Bat Dawgs have six games left in the regular season before post season begins.

Eli Baker tried to get to a ball hit to right field Monday afternoon against Monroe County. The ball got past Baker to give Monroe an early 1-0 lead. By the end of the first inning, Clinton County had climbed out of a 3-0 hole to tie the score at three to start the second inning. The Dawgs lost the contest 8-5.

Noby Guffey field a ball in left fielded during the first inning against Monroe County Monday afternoon. The Dawgs wrapped up its season at home with a loss against the Falcons, 8-5. Clinton County is 8-10 on the year.
