We will be having a Beef and Forage Field Day on Wednesday, Aug. 3 starting at 4 P.M. at the farm of Steve Peddicord .

Dr. Ray Smith, University of Kentucky Extension Forage Specialist, will be at the farm where we will be viewing warm season grass plots and discussing varieties, management etc.

Extension materials and pamphlets will be available on pasture and hayfield weed control which is pertinent this time of year.

We will also have a company representative available to discuss some of their beef implants.

A beef burger meal with all the trimmings will be served at 6 P.M. Please R.S.V.P. the Clinton Co. Extension Office by Monday August 1, if you plan to attend at 387-5404. We need a headcount for the meal.
