Verner (Pete) Cletis Cash, 78, Champions Way, Albany, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his residence. He was the son of the late James Eddie and Lula Mellie Riddle Cash. He was also preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Deane Taylor Cash, Albany; a daughter, Lisa Amanda (Allen W.) Angel; a sister, Donna Cash Cooksey; two grandchildren, Ashley Deane Beaty and Amanda E. Beaty (Ross) Dalton; one great-grandchild, Hunter Morgan Dalton; two step-grandchildren, Samantha Angel and Matthew (September) Angel; and three step-great-grandchildren, Kameron, Heavenly, and Logan Angel.

A graveside service was held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Locust Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
