Robert Lee “Bob” DeForest, 77, Wood St., Albany, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011. He was a veteran of the Korean War, son of the late William E. and Mary Elizabeth DeForest and was also preceded in death by a brother, Wm. S. DeForest.

He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Joan DeForest, Albany; a sister-in-law, DeDe DeForest, CA; two nieces, Rachel DeForest, Albany; D’An Brown, CA; five nephews, Andrew and Daniel DeForest, both of CA; Michael, David and Lee DeForest, all of Albany; also 10 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Shoemaker and Bro. Keith McKin officiating. Final resting place in Memorial Hill Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
