Phillip Cooksey, 76, Albany, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at The Medicaal Center – Albany. He was the son of the late James and Vida Conner Cooksey.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Graham Cooksey; a son, Scott (Mona) Cooksey; a grandson, Aiden Cooksey, all of Albany; three brothers, Steve Cooksey, Byrdstown, Tennessee; Harold and J.D. Cooksey, both of Albany; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Grant and Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
