Arica Collins, Vice Chair of the Clinton County Community Foundation, is shown presenting a grant check to Albany Fire Department Chief Robert Roeper. The donation from the CCCF was the result of a successful application that Alicia McIver, left, submitted to the CCCF in an effort to secure funding for new communications equipment for the fire department. McIver is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Albany Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

The funds will be used to help the department replace hand-held radios that are used by AFD personnel, many of whom currently carry radio equipment that is more than 20 years old.
