David Gene York, 69, Albany, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at The Medical Center-Albany. He was a retired school teacher with the Clinton County School System and son of the late Martin and Docia York.

He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sherry and Willard Johnson and Shelley York; a son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Sherry York, all of Albany; also two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro.. Tim White, Bro. Bruce Stearns and Bro. Edward Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Wray Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
