I had the most wonderful experience on Labor Day weekend. I went to a wedding in Culver, Indiana. It was just like seeing Cinderella being married to Prince Charming. Kirsten Ann Elliott, the daughter of Kyle and Lori Elliott married Jordan Spencer Steele, the son of Grady and Linda Stockton Steele.

The wedding took place in the Culver Memorial Chapel. The chapel is a living tribute to the 6,500 Culver men who served in World War II, as well as those who served in Korea and Vietnam. It is on the campus of Culver Academy. It is a military school where Kirsten attended her four years of high school. It looks like a small college campus and is so beautiful.

There is a lake in the front of the chapel with many anchored sail boats on it. Of course, Ryan Steele was the best man. He looked so handsome. Hillary was the Matron of Honor. My grandson, D.C. Stockton was the ring bearer. He looked so cute in his tuxedo.

There was beautiful singing during the wedding. Everything was perfect. The food was wonderful at the rehearsal supper and at the reception. I loved the music by the D.J. and the dancing. Of course, I love to dance. There was a photo booth too, where anyone could go and get their pictures made for free.

The wedding cake was different flavors of all delicious cupcakes stacked to look like a wedding cake.

I did not know that northern Indian was so beautiful as it is. Flat fields of crops for as long as the eye can see. It is Amish country up there.

There is a blueberry festival going on. Two million people were expected to be there. All of the rooms around were booked up. We all stayed at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana. It was so beautiful there.

I wish Kirsten and Jordan a long and happy life together.
