James E. Shelton, 60, Albany, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at The Medical Center-Albany.

He is survived by a daughter, Ada Grogan; two sons and daughters-in-law, James Edward and Ameila Shelton, Jr., both of Albany; Bobby Joe and Priscilla Routt, Burkesville, Kentucky; two sisters, Diana Shelton and Linda Moore, both of Albany; four brothers, Ronnie Shelton, North Carolina; Michael, Donnie and Bobby Blevins, all of Albany; also three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Alvin Sells officiating. Final resting place in Beech Bottom Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
